【Notice of Temporary Closures】
25th Floor “HACHITAMA” Spherical Observation Room and 5F Fuji TV Gallery (GACHAPIN×MUKKU Museum) will be closed for filming on Dec. 3 (Tue) – 4 (Wed) & 10 (Tue) – 11 (Wed), 2024.
※Nov. 30 (Sat) – Dec. 11 (Wed), the “HACHITAMA” area will have restricted walkways, viewing space, and potential noise due to set construction.
Normal operations resume Dec. 12 (Thu), 2024.
Renovation - Elevator to 25th Floor “HACHITAMA” Spherical Observation Room
From Tuesday, October 1, 2024, until February 2025 (scheduled), the route to the observation room will be changed as follows:
From 7F Fujisan Terrace ↔ (Elevator) ↔ 24F ↔ (Stairs) ↔ 25F “HACHITAMA” Spherical Observation Room
Please note that the only access between the 24th and 25th floors during this period will be via stairs. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to visitors who may have difficulty using stairs, as access will be limited to the 24th floor.
- Please wear a mask at all times.
- For the time being, staff members will use a non-contact thermometer to check your body temperature at the entrance area.
※If your temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher, you will not be allowed to enter the building.
※Please wash your hands frequently and follow the coughing and sneezing etiquette. - If you have a fever or a cold, or are not feeling well, please refrain from your visit.
- In addition, in order to avoid congestion in the facility, admission may be unavoidably restricted.
※Please keep a sufficient distance when standing in line at the ticket counter or cash register.
- For visitors, disinfectant solutions have been placed in areas including at the entrance of the facility, and also liquid soap in the restrooms.
- Areas of the facility where visitors frequently come into direct contact with, such as handrails, elevators and restrooms are disinfected frequently.
- All staff members on duty are required to wear masks and are also encouraged to wash hands frequently with disinfectant solution, as well as checking one’s daily temperature before work, making sure to be on top of one’s health.
- To prevent droplet infections, transparent protection sheets are installed at the general information desk, ticket boxes, stores, and areas where people come into direct contact.
- The facility is regularly ventilated.
- Elevators are operated with limited capacity.
Spherical Observation Room
Eight is considered a lucky number in Japan because when it is written in kanji, the shape of the character (八) looks like it is spreading widely toward the future, and thus a symbol of prosperity. Also, it looks like Mt. Fuji, from which the name of the company derives from.
The channel number is also eight, so this is synonymous with Fuji Television.

On weekdays only, high school students who present their student ID, admission fee is 640 yen.
